About the Taxidermist

My name is Nick Genereux and I am the Master Taxidermist at Outdoor Addictions Taxidermy. I was born and raised in Crookston. I grew up hunting and fishing. I attended South Dakota State University and have a degree in Wildlife and fisheries management. I am avid big game hunter having hunting in multiple states with rifle and archery gear. I am also an avid pike and muskie fishermen and I enjoy ethical trapping.

I first learned taxidermy after completing college I attended a good taxidermy school. Learning all aspects of taxidermy from the basics to advanced techniques, allowing me to win multiple awards at professional level even during my first year. I have since gone on to attend training sessions with multiple World Champions to learn advanced techniques and skills. I attend multiple taxidermy shows each year allowing me to compare and continue to improve my quality of work, along with learning the best up to date techniques at these shows.

In the last last year I won 4 "Best Of" categories awards. Those awards were for White-tailed Deer, Small Mammals, and Gameheads. More than anyone else for mammal at the MN, SD,ND shows this past year.
